Ep 53- Love is the New Black > @BlackNuancedPod
For what I can remember growing up and even professionally when I got older, I’ve naturally been ambitious, exuded leadership qualities, and showed up in spaces very assertively and confidently. In my mind, I just attributed it to big Leo energy and God. As I continued to evolve, I became aware of how some people started being intimidated by my 5’2 presence and I started showing up differently in my personal and professional space. Hearing these conversations with other dope ass black womxn, my guests and I decided to explore the power and limitations we’ve faced for being “alpha presenting”, how that showed up personally and professionally, and the themes in Black is King as it related to seeing ourselves. Chuuuch!
