It’s been some time since we linked up with the New Age MaBrrr, about four years to be exact (newer Sober Soldiers, go checkout our first convo with her). There’s no time like now for a solid catch up as Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena is doing her 10th year lap in the industry this year. Focus has been shifted a bit away from what we’ve always known her for but it’s not entirely out of sight for the multi faceted creative. She tells about her plans to return to both TV and Music, and a lot a more. We also touched on some of her business relations that have since dissipated and the energy around some of her former colleagues.

Times have not been so easy on her with the loss of a couple of people around her, but as you know she’s a fighter and hustler, so press play and get game from The Dust Queen.

Live from the beach, coming to you live with some sand between our toes courtesy of the good people at SA Tourism and Sho’t Left. We had such a great time that we had to slot in some time to bring you this quick episode to send our condolences to Costa Titch’s family, loved ones, fans and the whole SA music scene at large. We also delved into some new projects and a couple of things happening in and around the SA Hip Hop. It’s a quick one, don’t be mad we’ll back with a generous portion sized episode soon. First things first this is culture, secondly we’re back with the third episode of this season. Still some sombreness in the air as we delve into Mass Music just before chopping it up about all things culture and all the dope events we went to.

Ah man, dithapelo di landile and three can Play that game now. There’s a griffin flying over us now, this is the beginning of a beautiful chapter. Big up to the Play massive for believing in the Boyz and the Sober Soldiers at large, let’s get chopping!

Your favourite pod is back, and this time we’re rolling with a return guest and friend of the show Maglera Doe Boy. Since our last episode, Maglera has made strides in his career; from leaking ‘2 Player’ himself to the sonic montage that is ‘Diaspora’, not forgetting the gigs and campaign work to go with all of that. Maglera is at a different vantage point this time, however, still passionate about the politics of our people and communicating them in a non compromised artistic manner. There’s a lot to go through in this one, it’s a heavy as we’re still mourning the loss of AKA, but you know the vibes. Press play and enjoy.
