Staying Well as an Island Woman | Island Woman Podcast

In today’s episode, I’m talking about why wellness is especially important to me as an Island Woman surrounded by a high incidence of non-communicable diseases – like diabetes, hypertension and cancer – and 3 things I’m doing to stay well.

This topic is very near and dear to my heart and wellness conversations are ones I’m always willing to have. But wellness actions are even more important to me.

Hazell opens up about her journey from Hartford, Connecticut to Charlotte, North Carolina, and how what started as an unexpected move turned into a “blessing in disguise.” She shares how she got introduced to the podcast by QUANNA, how joining the Xclusive House of Lanvin in the Ballroom scene changed her life, and why she’s committed to being visible, vocal, and real in everything she does.
