Ease: My Best Effort is Enough (w/ Brittany Janay)
Brittany Janay lifts up one of her intentions from the top of the year: to move and make decisions from a place of ease, not urgency (in other words, not feeling the need to DO THE MOST). This episode she does something different…a little less “challenging” and “unpacking” and a lotta more affirming. Inspired by a bedtime moment she shared with her son, Brittany recounts the words and art of our elder, Useni Eugene Perkins. Perkins is most known for the book, poem “Hey Black Child.” Brittany Janay ends with a love note affirming our worthiness of ease, a reminder that our best effort is enough…we are enough.
