Aubrey: People are tired. Like, I want to sit there and be like, “How dare you get tired?” But I understand how the human nervous system works, so I have to, like, deal with that as a real constraint. But I feel like diversity fatigue is partially happening because everybody’s had the same ten diversity talks for five years. They, like, put some money into branding and putting a Black face on their website, and then threw their hands up and said, “Why isn’t racism done?” And so when you describe it that way you’re like, “Oh, yeah, that was never going to work in the first place.”
