The coronvirus has disrupted life throughout the entire country, sneakers included. In both the industry and community side of sneaker culture, people are questioning their priorities during this epidemic.

The brand with the 3 Stripes had to be guilt tripped into closing down after the CEO came out and basically said that closing down was for p*ssies.

That whole ordeal leads to the next story, where a few people on Twitter called out The Full Size Run after they did a video promoting Adidas and yet had nothing constructively critical to say about the above situation. Integrity ain’t for everyone.

Caesar looks forward to upcoming releases such as the Nike “Space Junkie” Pack. But with this ongoing pandemic, releases are being pushed back to a more favorable release date.

Adidas has teamed up with Google and EA Sports to create a soccer shoe that measures your movements as your play through Jacquard by Google. The data is then transferred to the Adidas GMR app and to EA Sports’ FIFA mobile game to unlock rewards.

Raf Simons joins Prada as co-creative director alongside Ms. Prada. Their goal is to reestablish creativity over commercial results within the fashion world.

And finally, Ronda Rousey becomes the newest member of the Mizuno endorsee family. But at this point in her career, will she be enough to bring brand awareness to masses?
