Disappointment literally feels like someone stabbed you in Back. Or you get this indescribable feeling in your stomach. It’s something you can’t control depending on the situation. We all have extreme love for our idols & favorites. If they are musicians, actors, even our favorite personalities can disappoint us.
This week I was Invited to my 2nd podcast interview with J’na Jefferson for her #AndFriends podcast. Having a relaxingTuesday I was excited to head out to Brooklyn. It’s very rare I take public transportation to Brooklyn from the Bronx.
When I arrived to Indie Creative Network (ICN) studios. I was excited to see my friends Wize the owner and creator of ICN.
These past two weeks on social media have been a little crazy for men like Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, Nas & the infamous Kanye West.
We started with the topics on R. Kelly & Bill Cosby. Then moved on to Nas & Kanye. We both came to the agreement that:
- R. Kelly should have been in jail a long time ago
- We can separate Bill Cosby from Cliff Huxtable. And still watch The Cosby Show
- Kelis made us view Nas in a way we never thought we would.
- Van Lathan is the true MVP. He told Kanye West what all black people are thinking.
Because this is only my 2nd podcast interview I never really know what to expect when I sit down. What type of questions I’ll be asked to, what topics we will discuss. Answering questions about myself is something I learned I like to do because, I never get the chance to or don’t want too. We talked about my work with Daze Summit, my networking company Who Did You Meet, and my new venture being EIC for ICN.
The best part about #AndFriends podcast is two segments called “unpopular opinion” and “Beyoncé mood of the day”. My “Beyoncé mood of the day” was a mix between ‘Flawless’ and ‘Don’t hurt yourself’. J’na also chose ‘Pretty Hurts’. You can also find ‘Beyonce Mood Of The Day’ Playlist on Spotify after every episode.
For ‘Unpopular opinion’ we talked about how much I think Seinfeld is not funny and how much J’na hates ‘How I met your mother’ which is honestly one of my favorite shows.
We closed out the podcast with pics, boomerangs and J’na showing us she learned the Beychella choreography.
