“It’s better to be ready and not needed than to be needed and not ready.”  We chat with Janeshia Adams-Ginyard – stuntwoman and actress – who currently stars in  Marvel’s Black Panther, as the stunt double for lead actress, Danai Gurira’s character Okoye, and as one of the eight Dora Milaje. Janeisha opens up about her path to Hollywood – and how these words from her mother helped keep her mentally prepared to conquer any challenge or goal that came her way. Janeisha’s work can be seen in Avengers: Infinity War, FOX’s 9-1-1, Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019), The Mindy Project, FX’s American Horror Story: Roanoke & Cult, Disney’s K.C. Undercover, HBO’s True Blood. Janeshia is a an alumna of the University of California Berkeley, fluent in American Sign Language and trained in Taekwondo. She made history on the U.S. National Bobsled team as brakeman on the first All-Black Female United States Bobsled duo. Janeshia also is the founder of Hyphy 4 Christ, an entertainment organization  that inspire and empowers wthrough faith-based content.
