Popular, topical podcasts that are topping the Kiwi charts

OPINION: Even us entertainment types have to concede that the Rugby World Cup is going to dominate the news here over the next month.

And now, All Black, professional footy player, dad, husband and clothing business owner Ardie Savea has come to the podcast party with his new podcast, aptly named The Ardie Savea podcast.

The first two episodes are Savea introducing himself, his beliefs and passions – and then answering questions from Instagram in a Q&A style.

Thankfully, in episode three, he has a wingman in fellow All Black  TJ Perenara, in a loose interview format. This entertaining episode is followed up by another footy interview with Angus Ta’avao – on both life and footy. Savea is a jovial renaissance man and listening to his podcast is a good way to get your rugby fix, without watching rugby.
