Since today is the second day of summer, according to the summer solstice, we thought we’d let you know about some new podcasts (and existing) podcasts created by Indigenous people. It’d be great to pop one of these on with the windows rolled down, wind in your hair and the sun shining on your face. There’s also a podcast for kids!
Also, just yesterday (on Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada), Ryan McMahon, Ojibway, who is a host of Thunder Bay podcast, talked with Apple in Canada to feature Indigenous podcasts. Check out his tweet of this dream come true.
“Indigenous podcasting has come a long long way (and we have a long way to go),” he said.
So with that in mind, this will be an ongoing list because there are so many Indigenous voices.
