You Must Remember This, the excellent Slate podcast about old Hollywood, is going on an indefinite hiatus. Host Karina Longworth, who launched the podcast in 2014, announced the news on Tuesday, sharing that the latest episode will be the last, for now.
“This is the last episode of @RememberThisPod for the time being,” she wrote on Tuesday. “My contract to make new episodes is up and I am busy with other projects at the moment. I hope the podcast comes back in some form at some point. That’s all I know now, but when I have more to share, I will!”
The final season of the show was devoted to fact-checking stories published in Hollywood Babylon, the gossip-laden book written by experimental filmmaker Kenneth Anger. Its finale tells the life story of Ramon Novarro, a Mexican singer and actor who worked for MGM in the 1920s and 30s, and was murdered in 1968.
