MAMARONECK – You’ve heard of the public radio organization NPR, but what about MPR?
It’s Mamaroneck Public Radio, the name of the new Mamaroneck High School podcast studio that launched this school year.
Evan Madin, who teaches journalism and English at the 1,500-student school, wanted to experiment with his journalism class this year by trying something different.
“I decided to make this all about sound this year,” Madin said. “It allows you to teach all the same tenets (of journalism) that we would normally cover, but it allows me to do it in a way that’s really exciting.”
