Guide creator connects the dots for podcasters of color | Lifestyle

This week, Philadelphia was the site of the Podcast Movement 2018, the largest annual conference for podcasters and the podcast industry in the country.

More than 2,000 active and aspiring podcasters of every stripe and ilk were represented, and the (unofficial) #PodcastsInColor networking event welcomed Black and brown podcasters to share their unique tips of the trade.

As podcasts and podcasting has exponential grown, Podcasts in Color founder Berry (she goes by a single name) created the directory site four years ago to “help people find podcasts outside of what is on networks who have marketing departments.”

Berry, who also formally presented at the PM18, says the “Podcast Directory” now boasts more than 1,000 listings.
