The Red & Black sat down with Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and spoke with her about how her upbringing influenced where she is today, policies she’s campaigning on and what she plans to get done in the first 100 days of office if elected.
Red&Black: I saw a recent essay you wrote, and you mentioned you want to be a public education governor. What exactly does this mean?
Stacey Abrams: In the state of Georgia, our fundamental responsibility is to provide access to public education for the students of Georgia.
