Granular is the solo live electronic act by Diptendu Das. Granular is all about synthesising organic sounds and blending them with harmonic melodies to create a surreal amalgamation of beats, noises and ambience. As the name suggests I mostly focus to build an arrangement based on the granular approach starting with extreme scratch or absolute granular forms of sounds. I try to visualise my idea before I start working on it and then I sail through a voyage wondering and exploring a deep ocean of organic as well as processed sounds. The most interesting part comes when I think of finishing a track, it always push me to carry on but I have to take a decision as the countless ideas are waiting too.
