In Episode 157 of TSB, the crew are back in the studio after their weekend in Chicago with The Score by Dick’s Sporting Goods. They are joined by special guest Quintin Williams, Co-Founder and Chief Global Designer of Q4 Sports. He talks about how he got started as a sneaker designer, being essentially turned down by Nike, and going on to create his own brand in just under two years; with his shoes already making it into the NBA.

Caesar goes on a rant about ugly shoes continuing to be made because they’re paired with the names of famous people. They cover the big news story of the week, where the Goat app merged with Flight Club, and how they thought it would affect the sneaker climate. They also touched another key acquisition from the week, LVMH–the company that owns Louis Vuitton–investing into Stadium Goods for a minority stake in the company.

Other topics discussed in the show we’re adidas’ regrettable contract with Derrick Rose. And in This Week In Stupid, an NBA player lost his contract with adidas because he wore Nike shoes during shoot around before a game.
