Well looks like Bob Harris has a couple of interesting pieces according to expert Ben Weingarten.
Another sports collectibles night with Ben Weingarten who not only brought in some wonderful photos of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and cards of Sandy Koufax, but took a look at some of my stuff and some some interesting stuff.
I had a total of 11 of these cards that Ben says are from the early 20’s and might go for 25 to 50 dollars each.
Ben also liked the looks of my Sandy Koufax rookie card. He suggested I get it graded which could greatly increase it’s value. He took a stab at around $500, but could be more.
It’s the 100th anniversary of the Black Sox Scandal where 8 members of the Chicago White Sox were banned from baseball for throwing the 1919 World Series. These photos are of one of the banned players “Shoeless” Joe Jackson.
